This post reflects my thoughts at the time and was meant to provoke discussion, not act as a complete manifesto.
☛ History Seems To Repeat Itself
The sky is blue, you're free to do whatever in the country you live in, and life feels so peaceful, doesn't it? Unfortunately, it feels like we're heading straight into a new World War soon.
WW1 started with the assasination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and that triggered a chain reaction of countries invading other countries, due to a weird net of connections and alliances between world leaders.
Now think about it. Russia invading Ukraine, the conflict involving Israel and Hamas in Gaza, and now the conflict between Pakistan and India. All that overlooked by this money and powersick U.S. President Donald Trump who thinks tariffs are going to save the U.S., and scaringly supported by the people who believe in the MAGA Agenda.
If that wasn't enough, Elon Musk is pushing this AI bullshit to present (generative) artificial intelligence as "The Thing That's Going To Save Us All", like it isn't already taking natural resources from people who actually need those, and like it isn't an ethical hellscape of plagiarism, misinformation and dehumanization, marketing it like it is one of those topics you discuss over school lunch, all while performing stuff on live TV like the nazi salute.
Please inform yourself on these stuff. Knowledge is freedom.
I think we should also say that what Trump and Musk are doing terribly looks like an attempt at building up a dictatorship. Even in the big 2025, dictatorships are still here. Think about countries like Syria, North Korea or Myanmar, and it can happen to any country in the European and American continent too. You're going to think "But that's impossible! America is the land of the free!" I'm sorry to tell you, but it is possible. Think about fascism. Everyone in Italy thought that fascism was going to change their lives but it opened the doors to nazism instead. You and your country are not immune to this.
What is a dictatorship?

The rights of the people are typically suppressed in a dictatorship, sometimes to a great degree. Dictators are usually backed (especially financially) by groups of powerful people. Please keep on creating. Keep on drawing. Keep making music. Keep doing what makes us humans. Get your voice out there. If you can, go in the streets and protest. Protest to keep your freedom.
☛ Why Anarchy Is The Best Solution
By definition, anarchy is:1. A state of disorder due to absence or non-recognition of authority or other controlling systems.
2. The organization of society on the basis of voluntary cooperation, without political institutions or hierarchical government.

What I mean by "anarchy is the best solution" I don't mean the fire, violence and vandalism people picture in their head when they hear The Word Anarchy, but rather the governmentless society based on mutual respect. Why should I be governed by people who got a shit ton of money but still won't educate themselves on the people they have control over? Why should the rich take decisions in a skyscraper for us when we could gather in a field full of flowers and decide by ourselves what we can do to help each other?
Unfortunately, The Richs do not give a fuck about low and middle class people, because why would they? Of course they got the money, but what do they need it for? People like Musk, Bezos, and Zuckerberg could lose one milion dollars and not notice it, so why keep it? At least pretend to be a good person and donate that milion dollars to charity, you'd save a lot of people in the world. But of course they wouldn't. Instead they all got rich by following the latest trend, AKA generative artificial intelligence.
☛ Generative Artificial Intelligence's Environmental Impact
If you didn't know, GenAI is terrible for the environment. When you ask a question to any AI chatbot, the answer isn't magically typed out for you. The question you ask to the chatbot gets processed in data centers that are usually flooded with questions like yours, and they start to heat up. To bring the temperature down, the people who run these data centers use water to cool these servers, and this water is taken away from people who actually need it.Okay, yeah. The image is cute. But did you have to generate it with AI? You could've commissioned an artist to draw it for you, but no, now you set a trend of people generating crap like this. A few days after that tweet was posted, OpenAI's CEO said that their GPUs were melting. You heard that right. All because people wanted to turn themselves into anime characters. Maybe people didn't want to pay real artists to draw their pictures in the Ghibli artstyle, and if they did that, it would've most likely been cheaper in the long run. But you know how people are. I'm genuinely very scared of what's going to happen from now on, I'm only 15 and sometimes I feel like I won't be able to survive until I'm an adult, because of everything that's happening, AI all over the world, this probable third world war, the fucked-up environment, evil and horrible people in power, it's all chaos!!! I'm really scared that I won't be able to live to adulthood, it's horrible :(
Me too, I'm 13 and I'm scared of the future of the world, I'm very scared of what is or will be created like what does the future hold for us? will it really be all technology? or will there be a world with only two islands with people dying of hunger every day winters -60° and in summer 70° I think I always have more fear I'm really really scared, someone reassure me please...

As a 20 y/o, the whole "the world is really close to ending" thing has been around ever since I was little and long before. I remember when I was a kid I'd hear on the news that we only had a few years left before the climate crisis would be unsolveable, they'd say that it would happen by 2016, 2009, 2030, etc. We don't know exactly *when* its gonna happen, or how many years we really have left. It is definitely more than we think. There are sooo many efforts in the world right now to slow or reverse climate change and they are working, and they are continuing to find new and better ways to reduce plastic waste, water consumption, oil spillages, carbon emmissions etc.
Things are indeed a bit different now because of AI as its speeding up climate change. However regulations are starting to tighten down on AI's over use, Disney recently sued Midjourney for stealing copyrighted material. And a lot of AI-related business practices are straight up illegal. Elon Musk runs gas turbines to power his Grok data centers, but he uses an amount so vast it produces an illegal amount of emmissions and is literally poisoning the land around it. Human rights are going to jump on that like a shark, just be patient for the law to catch up to it. AI is still really new to all of us, including legal systems. Hang in there!

I would take it a step further and actually understand the nuances of how these issues relating the middle east and the west is deeply rooted in racism and white supremacy rather than it only being 'conflict.' If one side has an army, and the other only has the people resisting, then is it truly a war?

If I may be honest with how I do feel about this situation, war has been a natural constant since humans have found agriculture. Would you want to cause hell cause the next tribe over has what you needed and yet you stand there and don't? OF COURSE YOU'D RAISE HELL (praise dale) OVER IT! But wars these days are always going to be proxies. It's just over intel and products of knowledge more so than oil and reserves. Even if that's still the case in some regards, we're gonna start seeing wars enacted over who has access to what kinds of knowledge.
Keeping yourself informed is a great thing in these times and do it as much as you can! Also, do what you must to refrain from upgrading anything due to the increase in prices. If you can hack, jailbreak, fix or rig it, RELY ON THAT. It could be useful.
If you can afford to get physical media, do it. Thrifted, new, doesn't matter. Get access to it!
But my most important note here. Stop fearing about what if's and what could's..... it only drags you further into fear until you REALLY have something to fear. After you discover that (coming from a state of fear), you'd be spent of your empathy. Best keep that shit protected and safe, until you know the means of arising to the occasion happens. Fear is the mind killer (and it's more pervasive than you think). So be vigilant, pay your attention to your body (and reality) as much as you pay attention to the news. Some days you'll be more happy to be alive as the body is a home in of itself than the community you live in.

I really hope nothing will happen.. I'm not ready to be in a war, and i never will. I can't even handle simple stress, let alone a war.. I just want to live in my own world, free, safe, and al lot of fun not a WAR.. I hate getting hit by reality..

i doubt well go into a fully fledged world war but even if did i dont think its what everyone will imagine itll be nuclear weapons probably wouldnt be used because even brainless billionares can see a nuclear world war would be the end of the world as we know it i think it would be more cyber based as that could demolish a counrty from the inside e.g. devaluing its currencybut either way i dont think there will be a world war i think its very fearmongering and until we have solid evidence ( more than just threats) its not something to worry about! thats just my opinion but if anyone has something diffferent feel free to share (be respectful)

regardless of whatever consequential form of anarchy comes to exist, it will take many more drastic and severe events to occur before the american masses organize correctly and efficiently.
watch the A24 film Civil War. resonates deeply with the current situation.
as of posting: israel fired strikes at iran, targeting military and nuclear sites. trump subsequently ordered 3 strikes on nuclear facilities across iran; russia sides with iran, and iran fires back at US military bases in qatar and UAE. (i think)
