So I know a number of people that are “Alternative” in their choices of music, fashion and humor. And personally I’ve been wanting to get into more an alternative style but I hear many conflicting opinions as to what makes someone alternative. Some say it’s about the politics while others say it’s just about wearing what you want and just being you.
I’d love to hear what other people think though!! Any opinions you may have would be greatly appreciated! :)

Alt culture is ass. I just dress the way I lik3 and people already put me in a box and asumme they know everything about me, and when I don't live up the this stupid expectations I'm a "poser" because I like dressing in baggy pants like bffr. This communities are just full of kids who wont chill out. Maybe it's the lack of sunlight, maybe the lack of irl friends, who knows? Just be yourself and, most importantly, enjoy! Self expression is about you, not some dumb subculture of depressed teens
You may even find out that most alt people haven't even read a book about politics, they just find smth in social media and automatically they assume they know about it.

being alt is about their perspective point of view, you bee yourself like an anarchist, u have ur own rules, and of course respect; that’s important no matter what
