Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited to be able to do research on something that actually interests me. But like, my supervisor? GORL
first and foremost, SHE'S NOT A PROF AND BARELY AN INSTRUCTOR! The first time we met up to talk about the topic, she was like "yeah, you're like the second student I've ever supervised hehe" and I'm like "???" WHY WOULD THEY PUT ME WITH YOU TF!
Secondly, she mostly works outside, as do I, so the rate of emailing is minimal, but the work needs to start as soon as possible. Like two rounds of plants need to be grown babes, LETS GET THIS GOING SHALL WE! it doesn't help I'm not staying in the city where things will be happening so there is many other plans that need to be made prior to planting and getting things together.
lets not be getting things confused either, she is a nice enough lady, but like i just don't think right me????

ive had similar experiences. Working in research labs with a supervisor who is very inexperienced is sometimes stressful but it also meant that there was less at stake since im not the one to blame
thats very true i guess lmao. its just research i think is very cool and reallyyyy don't want to fuck up so i have to try and work around it ig
