I was in France, two days ago. Paris, to be exact. The Eiffel tower was so big. I didn’t expect it to be that huge. I always thought it was overrated, but it’s genuinely pretty imo.
We also went to louvre, not IN the louvre because the tickets were sold out and the queue was longer than my remaining lifespan. The overal architecture was beautiful. Too bad me and my peers were too tired to even appreciate it. I made some unimpressive sketches.
Let me tell you something funny that happened in the gardens of louvre: Me and my friends were just sitting in the grass, when some random boy our age came to us with cookies in his hand, then two other boys followed, one of them “walked” in crutches. I think he was the leader.
Anyway, the leader told us they wanted to go to Sweden for a football team and they were saving up money by selling cookies (Like a bunch of girl scouts- I thought in my head.) I was too focussed on the fact that his French accent sounded so funny when he spoke English to notice that some of my friends were enthralled by him and ngl I can see why. They basically gave him their coins and were gushing out when he “left” (He said a few things in French to his friends along the lines of “They are definitely talking about us but I can’t understand what.”)
They were also calling him “glazed donut”.
We also walked the entire day, so at the end of the day I couldn’t feel my legs. Also, no, I didn’t see Ladybug and Chat noir, unfortunately :(
