im mad about the switch 2 >:(

i hate hate hate this keycard system theyre introducing - theyre killing the resale market!! they dont want us to pirate or emulate their games, but theyre destroying any chance of a resale market?!?!? WTF??? THEYRE ERASING PHYSICAL GAMES?? like. dude.

the virtual card system also pisses me off. turns out, you cant just share digital games w/ anyone, you can only share them to switches w/ ur account on em, and only ur account can play em!! me n my sis share physical games all the time, but i cant lend her my digital copy of my sims??? huH????

i also hate how theyre basically locking good graphics behind a paywall. MARIO KART TOUR WAS BUILT FOR THE SWITCH. MEANING THE SWITCH CAN FUCKING RUN IT. but nooooooo we have to spend over £70 for it AND buy a brand new £400 console too. If it can run botw and totk, why are pokemon graphics so fucking shit?? are you seriously telling me that if i want a pokemon game with good graphics, doesnt glitch, n just functions as designed, IVE GOT TO PAY £30 EXTRA???

i was actually really excited for the switch 2 - i watched the direct live under the desk in class, then on the train home, fucking transfixed to my phone needing to know every little tidbit. but now every bit of info that comes out just makes me more n more mad.

im going to put off getting a switch 2 as long as i physically can. ive been team nintendo for as long as i can remember, my childhood console was a wii u for fucks sake !! but this shit, dude it fucking hurts. this was meant to be a vent but its just making me more upset. legends: z-a and tomodachi life 2 are both coming out on switch, so ill be able to play them. im also getting a pc soon, so i want to focus on playing all the games ive missed out on over the years. 

im just so mad dude.
