Brief Introduction

So! You might be wondering what the hell even is this account??

Thankfully I am here to save you the trouble and explain!! This here is a (somewhat) comprehensive guide for the 2025 NYC Mayoral Election. It'll cover the electoral process, and summaries for three candidates that the team behind this website feels particularly strong about, and some other hopefully helpful blog entries to help you best prepare for the election.

Now if you think this is all BS that's fine, but a girl has to do what she's gotta do to get a good grade in her AP Gov class.

And if you think this is all wayyy too much information, we fortunately have a simplified version of the guide created in Canva that will be linked below. However, it only includes information about the electoral process and candidate summaries. 

We really hope you enjoy the guide and that you're able to take advantage of this resource in the upcoming mayoral election. Other than that you can sit back and listen to Lana (with occasional reloads of the site)

Remember to always take advantage of your freedom of speech in pivotal elections such as these! Its our job as citizens to determine who we see fit as leaders, but we can only do that if we are equipped with the necessary tools to optimize our vote.

On that note, please make sure you're registered to vote by the deadline, which is June 14th for the primary election and October 25th for the gen. election! (We talk more about these dates and the difference between general and primary elections in our electoral process overview!)
