STORY TIME:How my bestfriend completely forgot me

So im I nerd, right?Well so did my friend(until we got into the 5th grade)

Now my friend(we'll call her Izzy) had just gotten out of homeschool so this was our first time back in the public. Nothing was different. Just your average Karen teacher, Sweet teacher, the teacher that has insane mood swings, and the chaotic class. Me and Izzy were always next to each other and defending each other...until this girl came along(we'll call her Gem). Gem was that type of ratty girl that bossed everyone around,friends with other bratty girls,talk down on teachers, and degenerate as ever(me and Gem used to be friends in the second grade). So Gem walks up to Izzy and they just start talking, and i didn't think much of it at the time cause i hadn't seen this girl in 3 years, so i just let it happen.About a week later the more i tried to hang out with Izzy the leess we started talking and the less we started talking the more she kept talking to Gem and her mean girls group.Now me being a 5th grader was like"Oh...maybe i should lay off a bit and she might start talking to me", and i stuck with that. Couple months later, we're getting back from break and bro...i barely recognized her. Izzy's hair was more curly,she was liking a bunch of the stuff that we both hated,and she started acting like Gem(Bratty and annoying).

Fast forward 2 years later cause 6th grade was trash

So I'm in the 7th grade now and I'm...everything 8 y/o me wished I wasn't(a basic,slightly chubby,5'5 artist and nerd).So we had just came back from summer break and i was talking to some of my new teachers. That's when Gem and Izzy's friend group came in. Izzy was so different this time that she looked so much more...Mean girl-ish(if that makes sense).She had on this bright pink crop top and leggings on(in a school with an already strict dress code).You see when i first met Izzy, she was like me. Mangy yet straight blond hair,always wore hoodies and jeans, and was really fun to be around(now all i feel like she talks about is brainrot and scroll throug tiktok and stuff like that).she would bully me(and so would her stupid friend group), always looked like she was mad, annoying in general, and to much of a show at the same time(and that's coming from an natural born show off).I got my revenge tho by doing nothing

Recently, Izzy recently got into some beef with her friend group and basically lost connection with all of them.

I'm going to the 8th grade now...Revenge is so sweet and what an incredible way to end off this hellish school year :>
