4chan...a website where users are mostly anonymous, where images are published that later become forums, memes, etc...so far so good, right?
4chan used to be a place where people would talk about Japanese comics or anime, but over time it became a site that talks about games, television, politics, etc. However, this site began to fill with controversies and polemics due to its lack of moderation in the forums, crude expression, doxing, the case of the crystals and so on, even more things that we probably all know.
But not everything is bad, I suppose, most of the cradle of the internet is on 4chan and many memes like Trollface or The Frog or creepypasta like Slenderman (I love that Creepypasta) would be born
On April 14, 2025, 4chan was hacked by an anonymous user, who had sensual information about other users. I will not talk more about the subject because there is already a blog talking about it.
That's all, but tell me, what do you think about it?

4chan has always been the sweaty hairy asshole of the internet, but that's why I liked it

a real bastion of freedom of speech, but seeing it hacked and exposing a bunch of feds in the mod team is not surprising

Oh yeah, from what i've seen, 4chans a pretty sketchy website in my opinion, but hey! It is the origin of the Backrooms post i guess.

correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't slenderman actually a somethingawful creation? i believe the rake is a 4chan creation though if you wanted another example.
Yes, you're right, but from what I've investigated a little, it started to become known for that website^^
