In a few minutes (8PM CEST), we’ll be holding a 2-minute silence. This is a moment to pause, reflect, and pay our respects to the European and American soldiers who helped earn the freedoms we get to enjoy today.

Please also take this time to think about those still serving — especially in the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

And beyond soldiers, let’s remember the medics, journalists, and others who put themselves in danger every day to help or inform others.
