Labor win Australia

The Australian Labor Party just won the Australian election. Very happy to have a Labor government in power as I attempt to move out of home, go on HRT etc. It's not too surprising as the leader of the opposition, Peter Dutton, had some pretty extreme and unpopular campaigning, as well as mirroring Trump in many ways. Dutton was more popular 6+ months ago, but his and Trumps extreme ways have even turned away conservatives. In some ways I'm glad Dutton was more right-wing than most Liberal candidates and more weird, it gave Labor an easier win. If the leader was someone else (more centrist), we may have a Liberal government right now. 

Dutton lost his seat for Dickson completely, replaced by Ali France. Slayyy. My whole family voted for the Liberals, but it's okay, they lost in a huge landslide. Here's to three more years of Albanese, hopefully we're all allowed our freedoms and please fix the cost of living crisis it's really not cute.
