A Brief Not Drunk History Of Fall Out Boy:

Fall Out Boy was created in 2001 by Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump, and I think Joe Troman but I’m not 100% sure. Patrick originally had wanted to be a drummer but they thought he would be a good singer for the band so he became the singer. Fall Out Boy had 2 different drummers before Andy Hurley had joined in 2003. In late 2009 after they had made Folie à Deux they took a break for a few years. They got back together in I believe 2013, where they made Save Rock And Roll, and have been together ever since then

Week 2: 

Iron Maiden

Genre: Heavy Metal

History of Iron Maiden

In 1975 Steve Harris decided to make Iron Maiden on Christmas. He got the name from “The Man In The Iron Mask”. The band went through a few different members before they got who is in the band today. They started out just playing small gigs. Their third album “The Nulber Of The Beast” is what made them really famous. “The Number of the beast” hit number 1 in the UK. Eddie the bands mascot started as a paper mache stage prop. He made his first official appearance in 1980 on iron maidens single “Running Free”.

My Chemical Romance 

Genre: Alternative rock, Pop-punk

History of My Chem:

My Chemical Romance was formed in 2001. They are a New Jersey based band. My chemical Romances first song was called Skylines and Turnstiles, which is about 9/11, the event that had caused Gerard Way to decide to form a band after he had witnessed it. He had decided he needed to make an effort or as he says “Do something that actually meant something”. Gerard had asked Ray Toro to join the band since he thought of him as an amazing guitarist (which he is). He had also asked his brother, Mikey Way to join and play bass. Later in 2002 the band felt that they needed another guitarist since Ray Toro had been doing a lot. They invited Frank Iero to join the band, to which he happily agreed. They have had a few members that they had to let go. Like Matt Pellisier who was their first ever drummer from 2001- 2004 who had played in I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love. They also had Bob Bryar as a drummer for a while from 2004- 2010, who had sadly passed away on November 24, 2024 at 44 years old. You can hear his drum in Three Cheers for sweet revenge, The Black Parade, and I believe Danger days, also in many live performances. My Chem broke up in 2013, but had reunited in 2019. To this day they are still touring :)
