"What You Ought To Believe"

I'm personally sick and tired of the left vs right, blue vs red, donkey vs elephant malarkey. As a country, we are completely stunted in reasonable progress to any sort of degree. Our history is a clear indication of that. We have existed off this Hollywood perversion that we are a bunch of cogs in the big timepiece of progress that is America. That by people alone, we bequeath the world with our inventions, and that is done solely by joined arms marching in step together towards a greater future. Not so. The class division of this country entirely dictates what is, and isn't progress. I am told in the news all to often "Congress discusses foreign policy" or "Congress and the president draft bill stating cease of trans women in women's sports" and I simply thing to myself, "are these people truly serious?". I bust my fucking ass, and toil on minimum wage, yet healthcare remains at a completely unmanageable and uncompassionate sum. So many things in this country function on the sole basis of proprietary gain, that shouldn't. Healthcare, Justice, Foundations, Religious organizations, politics, and so many more. Our lobbying has kept us in this purgatory, and seemingly nothing can be done... Or can it?

As an American, seeing Luigi shoot that healthcare CEO cocksucker was such a relieving sight to behold. Finally, someone was willing to stand up to our corporate conglomerate overlords. I have no compassion left in my body for CEO's. They don't get my compassion not because of their wealth, but how they weaponize it against the people. They force people to take gambles of their health, and people in America often die from simple things like teeth cavities or the flu because the idea of going into complete debt for medical treatment is often more terrifying than death itself. People don't challenge this, because everyone is far too comfortable. Everyone is fat and happy, and far too busy discussing the meandering noise that is current politics. Everyone is also too worried about losing what they have in their life, me included. I have my own set of loyalties that means I cant commit to radical acts, but at this point, America needs to straighten up, or we will see many more Luigi's in the future. The wealthy have enslaved us into a serfdom only seen in 1140's Europe, and its getting worse by the day. I hope, one day, we see change. Radical or not, Ill be with the huddled masses, and this 'American Dream' will no longer feel like a nightmare you cant wake up from.

Sorry for the random rant, I be rantin fr :3
