I don't know how to start this; I'm really pissed right now. I feel a raging feeling against men in a way I've felt before. I was once a radical man-hating feminist and had no male friends (not many friends either way); that's now known as femcel, women that decide to have voluntary celibate 'cause men are nasty lustful animals that can't control themselves. (in contrast to incels that just have it 'cause they're disgusting and can't get chicks).
Well, I have many male friends and even a boyfriend, however I feel disgusted and uncomfortable at the idea of men. I don't hate men, obviously I'm just tired of this society that helps to build the rape culture. I'm tired of hearing news of little girls getting molested and women getting killed and raped not only by strangers but also by men that are supposed to love them, like their partners or even their own dads.
This is really shitty, I can't even describe how disgusted I feel about rape culture, and porn has the fault of that, all the categories like "maid", "rough", "teen", "non-consensual", "step-daughter" and lots more.
How would anybody feel if their own dad watched "step-daughter" porn. How would anybody feel if their grown-ass husband watched the "teen" category. How would anybody feel if their loving partner watched "non-consensual" porn? I would be terrified.
Another thing I hate is the constant glances you can get in public of disgusting men that feel like they're trying to know what's under your clothing, they don't even try to hide it they just stare at you with that sickening smirk, there ones that even wink, bite their lip or stick out their tong, as if they were the most desirable man on earth.
And all that at the raw age of 10/11 these pigs don't even care if you're a literal child, they even prefer it. They want their preys to be easy, they want them to be as helpless as they can. Because they feel the power they could never get elsewhere. Rape is not about sexual pleasure and arousal, Rape is about power, about control, about ego.
Hope this gets to the right audience, feel free to debate with me if you want.

Girl, you are a literal child, where are your parents and why are they not monitoring what you're watching/reading?? x.x
Stop consuming content and media about those topics, and you'll stop seeing it everywhere. Good news doesn't sell, so of course the media is going to show you all negative things. If all you read is articles about racism, you're going to start seeing racism everywhere. If all you watch is videos of men being gross, then you're going to start seeing all men as gross.
Don't let the internet mess with your perception of the real world. Put the phone down, take a break from social media. Find a hobby you enjoy. Read some books. At 10/11 you should be enjoying the world around you, not forming complex opinions on it. Enjoy childhood while it lasts.
Well, I'm 18 so not a child. And if I'm talking about this stuff, it's because it does concern me and my friends. When one of your friends get molested or oppressed for this fucked up rape culture, then talk about it. You men will never get what is to be catcalled or being called gross stuffs at the age of 12. So if you don't have any experiences, why even talk at all. I wanted this to be informative, and I know not all men and blah blah blah, but the only people responding to this are angry man who want to defense something that was an attack to the rape culture and society. So yeah, why bother about these stuff when you can be overflowing in your privileges. Try to understand someone but yourself sometimes.

When you said 10/11 the way you phrased it sounded like you were talking about yourself, so my bad on that assumption. But you are also wrong about your assumption that I'm a man -- I'm a woman. And I DO have a friend that was raped -- by another WOMAN. "If you haven't had any bad experiences then why speak at all" Uhh because I can? What do you think would happen if Amazon only allowed negative reviews to be shown on products? Everyone would assume all the products are horrible -- even though there were only 10 bad reviews and 90 people who had good experiences. People NOT talking about their good experiences is part of the problem.
Your post was not informative, and it wasn't "an attack on rape culture" -- it was an off-the-wall rant about your perceived view of the world and men. The fact you assume everyone disagreeing is a man also says a lot.

Well, if you are a woman, that says a lot about you and how blind you are about this society. Rape culture is a real thing, men being the most people who rape is a thing, men being more privileged is a thing, and all I said in my blog is real. Maybe in your own life it's not, but it is the reality of a lot of women, and it's just sad that you can't emphasize with them.
That your friend was raped, but another woman is just sad, but it is a part of the rape culture. And I'm sure that you've experienced something like that too. Because it doesn't matter if you are male or female, you can be a sexist whoever you are or identify as.

I don't think "maid" and "rough" belong with the other to, I could be wrong but as a concept I don't think those two really a fit with the others
Well, "maid" I mean it not as the anime term but as a servant type and this is all about power and treating someone that is "below you" as an object for your pleasure, so yes it kinda does. And in the "rough" ones you can always see how the girl is the one receiving all the damage and bad treatment as, slapping, spiting, degrading words, even choking, spanking with more damaging objects as whips, planks, etc. And as maybe she acts like she likes it, people who consume that type of content may be leading in a way that is not consensual and cause damage.
As I said all this leads to the rape culture to increase, and overall raping is about control over the other persons' wellbeing whether it's mental or psicologically.

i totally understand that, coming from a man. it sounds like most of your problems though are coming more from people in power. most of that you can say thanks to higher up people. but for the looks you get its very sad but you have to note its obviously not all men
I know that it's not all men, I'm just disgusted right now. It's obvious that all problems come from the upper class, they create the society and what it takes, but I'm really mad at men for accepting all this fucked up system and contribute to it.
by mushy!; ; Report
but how are they accepting it? they feed the step daughter porn stuff because they get addicted because nobody with power takes it srs. the men of today are victims of the upper class too
by Ephemera; ; Report
They may be victims but being victims they cause harm at women that are both victims of the capitalistic self-center upper class and men of their own class, I know things can be hardly changed from the bottom but if we don't try it anybody will 'cause the uppers want it to be this way for their own benefit. So something has to change.
by mushy!; ; Report
yes but its not them you should be mad at. you dont get mad at the weapon the murderer uses do you?
by Ephemera; ; Report
because they are obviously taught its okay ? the porn industry is normalized by the people in power and men are taught that its normal from a very young age.
by Ephemera; ; Report
Well, I guess, but if it's so normalized how come there aren't as many women consuming porn, and it's only men, and don't say genetics or nature 'cause then I will lose it. Obviously the "bad categories of porn" are made for the male gaze, but there could be categories that women could consume, but it's not as generalized as men watching porn. So how could that be explained?
by mushy!; ; Report
because women are 100% the victims. women have always been the victims, im not completely excusing men. yes the men are taught that its fine making them also victims but women obviously have it worse. women have been put down for hundreds of years so obviously theyre gonna realize when somethings wrong
by Ephemera; ; Report
Yeah, I guess it all kinda is how society is structured and what we have normalized, I hope one day all gets better.

Women do absolutely consume porn, just not in the same way as men. And yes, there is a biological difference in the way our brains are wired, even if you don't want to acknowledge it. Men are very visual creatures; thus they consume visual porn. Women are more reliant on the other senses and imagination -- audio porn is a huge thing, and smut. Hot edits of their favorite celebs or characters. They may not be as obvious as pornhub.com, but they're absolutely getting their rocks off just as much as men, lol. There are also a lot of women who do enjoy visual porn, though.
