4. what's your favorite song by your favorite artist ?: i'm a mess. the keep the coffins coming version is my favorite, but the parachutes version is still number 2 of all songs ever

6. what's your favorite genre ?: i just like rock music, and most of the subgenres that comes with it

7. do you prefer listening to albums or playlists ?: albums, i don't make a lot of curated playlists

8. do you use spotify, yt music, itunes or something else ?: spotify, but i also have many punk albums on record that aren't on streaming that i spin a lot

9. name an underrated band and an overrated band!!: militarie gun (underrated) and arianna grande (extremely overrated)

13. do you play/want to play any instruments ?: i've been playing the flute for 11 years, i think. i used to play the piano, i took lessons for like a decade, but i'm quite rusty now (though i can still play my scales!). i'm currently trying to teach myself guitar! college just keeps me crazy busy :(

14. if you were in a band, what would you name it ?: a friend of mine and i have been planning to make a band, but we haven't really settled on a name. i like icon apocalypse, but perhaps that's better for an album...

16. what band/artist have you been listening to the longest ?: probably maroon 5 or no doubt. my mom was crazy about them when i was a kid

17. what's the newest band/artist you started listening to ?: corrupt vision i believe! a hxc / ska-ish band out of cali

18. what's the reason you usually start listening to a new band/artist ? (e.g friends suggest them, a song of theirs trends, etc): recs from my other punk friends or its a band that tours/plays shows with others i like (that's how i got into a lot of the local punk around me, even before going to shows). and, honestly, i get a lot of music from tiktok - i follow a lot of hc bands and other people in the scene 

19. be honest, have you ever started listening to a band because a member of it was hot ?: haha, probably when i was younger

20. what's a band/artist you didn't like at first but you like now ?: i had to really stockholm myself into liking leathermouth when i was a kid. i'd never listened to genuinely hard music before

21. what's a band/artist you used to like but don't anymore ?: lana del ray. not only is she a shitty person, but i just don't like bedroom pop anymore

23. how many concerts have you gone to ?: uhh 12 i think? i wasn't allowed to start going to concerts until i could pay for them myself </3

26. do you care more about lyrics or sound ?: both are important, but i listen to hxc so i fear i have to say sound... you can't understand half those mfs

27. would you listen to a band with a bad singer if every other member was amazing?: refer back to when i said i like hxc... i do this already

29. favorite movie soundtrack ?: i'm going to say k: missing kings and it's 100% because i'm crazy about k project but IT STILL COUNTS! the soundtrack is FIRE!

30. are you active in the fanbase for any bands/artists ?: oh god, so many - but the ones of note: my chemical romance (HARD core), waterparks (unfortunately), starset, and pierce the veil

31. do you ever zone out and imagine epic amvs/edits to a song ur listening to ?: oh absolutely. my favorite is my crazy amazing mental k project amv i've perfected over years to devour by shinedown

32. have you ever talked about a band/artist so much all your friends started associating anything to do with that band or artist with you ?: i'm simultaneously the mcr friend, the frank iero friend, the starset friend, the against me friend, the militarie gun friend, the hxc friend, and the punk friend...

33. what band/artist gets too much hate ?: maybe this is niche but i see sooo much hate online for fall out boy

34. what band/artist doesn't get enough hate ?: harry styles. his music all sounds the same lmfao

35. do you have any songs so strongly associated with something/someone that you cant think of anything else when you listen to it ?: i associate most songs and even bands with the people who introduced me to them. i'll always associate disasterology (pierce the veil) with going to the local fair when i was a kid with my sibling, and suffocate (knocked loose) with when i saw them live and got to crowdsurf to that song :)

36. how many band tees do you own ?(bonus for you emos: how many of them are black ?): geniunely an uncountable amount because i have so many that they're not even all clean at the same time because all i wear is graphic tees, and at least 90% of them are band shirts. maybe like 10 of those aren't black LMAO

37: do you collect vinyls or cds ?: i have a lot of CDs, but i don't collect them - a lot are my mom and dad's old ones. i do collect records though! my discogs is linked on my page!

38. do you own any band merch apart from tees, vinyls or cds ?: yuuup. i've got the poster & frog plushie from waterparks' sneaking out of heaven tour, a flag of the cover of divisions by starset, all four danger days action figures, party poison and robert smith funko pops, a necklace of mcr's logo, the AP collector's issue for mcr, an issue of new noise for ls dunes (the one that came with the flexi discs!), a copy of celebrity take down by gorillaz (including the stickers!), and of course several posters. can i include my frank iero tattoo in this too?

43. have you ever purposefully tried to look like a musician you liked ? (eg dyeing ur hair like theirs, copying their style, etv): i have spent most of my life trying to look like frank iero. i know all my other trans men can relate

44. have you ever been compared to any musicians ? if you have, do you see it or not ?: i got told i looked like young henry rollins once when my buzz was fresh
