Haunted or cursed?

So Yesterday i was at a Dnd session and one of my friends brought a new player and eventually she mentioned that she has a curse and now lights go out wherever she goes. She has also been having bad luck. I didn’t think much of it at first, (although i am superstitious) and kinda brushed it off. But today i’ve had terrible luck and i keep seeing a black cat!! When i first saw it, it was when i was at my bus stop. I pointed him out but my friend said she didn’t see him and then it went up some stairs and disappeared! And i saw another one while on the bus and it disappeared after going behind a car. I’m wondering if i’m perhaps cursed or perhaps haunted? Plz help! T-T
