perspective of k-pop

i've lost a lot of interest in k-pop lately. songs are boring, repetitive...they feel heartless. i feel like idols don't love art as much as they used before. don't get me wrong, maybe while you read this, you may think i'm nostalgic and that's why i'm feeling this way. no. groups like ILLIT or RIIZE sound a bit too manufactured than they are supposed to. i mean, many people think k-pop sounds too manufactured and i get it, but those previously mentioned groups are a whole new level. 

concepts are repetitive and boring. i've been always been a fan of those eccentric or unconventional concepts, i gotta highlight that this statement doesn't apply to all cases. i know that some concepts are popular and agencies would prefer using those already popular concepts than taking risks and creating/using more...unique ones, dare i say. (couldn't find the right words to elaborate that statement.)

every day there's a new controversy. i'm genuinely fed up with this. it's almost ridiculous. i understand the people who keep up with updates on the k-pop industry or the Korean industry in general, since they're fans of it, but i don't understand those who make sensationalist videos and just spend their time giving their unsolicited opinions on the subject. 

i've EXTREME hatred towards k-stans and toxic stans. i don't think it's necessary to elaborate.

btw, don't get mad at me pls ＞﹏＜ this is only my opinion and it's fine not to agree with it, i still LOVE k-pop with all my heart

oh, and daily reminder: KATSEYE and VCHA are NOT k-pop groups. stay mad.
