right-wing feminists are not true feminists

feminism is about equality between men and women, for every woman.
however, it is obvious that the places where women are most likely to suffer misogynistic prejudices or even violence are the places with less economic stability (or poor regions to put it simply). therefore, right-wing people who prone self-reliance and want to reduce the state control on the economy by lowering taxes (so that their favourite billionaire can continue to get richer) are not advocating for them, as well as other women who rely on these aid provided by the government (disabled women, single mothers, women victim of abuse etc).

you cannot scream "single mothers are warriors, they need more help!" and then vote for politicians who want to reduce taxes, therefore lowering all the financial aid these mothers could get. you cannot advocate for women's right to bodily autonomy, yet vote for politicians who will make abortions illegal, just because you're stupid enough to believe they'll make the egg prices drop.
feminism has always been about progress, yet some 'feminists' will vote for (far-)right parties who are making us go backwards. when they're voting for these parties, they are voting against women of colour, queer women, poor women, women of different religions, or just women in general.

and do not get me wrong, i know that there is a lot of right-winged feminists, simone veil is one of the figures that really got me into feminism.
what i mean is that, yes, if to you keeping your money is more important than helping people who are struggling, you are not a true feminist. you are not a true feminist because you are only advocating for privileged women. you are not fighting for every woman, you are fighting for yourself.
and even if these privileged women still suffer from misogyny, they don't go through half the things other, less privileged, women go through. instead of using your own privileges to help yourself, you should use these privileges to help the one in need.

so i am begging every woman who is a rightist to truly read the program of the politicians they are voting for and to educate themselves on intersectional feminism.

this selfishness is one of the key failures of 'right wing' feminism, & arguably makes it just as pointless & ineffectual (unless your intention is to make the problem worse) as liberal feminism. (what good has 'choice feminism' or forced birth (""pro-life"") activism done?) it really is a shame to see the term 'feminism' applied to the "activism" of socially privileged people who won't use their platforms to provide critical support to vulnerable & marginalised women.
as a sidenote, if you're interested in finding a community of fellow feminists on spacehey, feel free to join us over in the groups tab! it's admittedly pretty inactive right now, but I'm working toward encouraging participation + growth where I can. thank you for your consideration! & I wish you a good day <3

I agree with you and since I live in Italy I can tell what's going on here: our prime minister is a right winged woman that is completely going against women which is a paradox, just not being a feminist (she can say whatever she wants but she's not acting like that) is a total paradox and it's something going against herself, her daughter and the whole country. The most not feminist thing that she did is rasing the tax on products for babies and women such as diapers and pads, those additional money that we pay cause of the tax go to the state. How can something like this even happen? It's too controversial in my opinion and it makes me really mad

as a european as well (french), it's genuinely terrifying to see the rise of far-right/fascist parties everywhere in europe. it feels like we're evolving backwards, i just want to slap people with history books.
(sorry for replying so late btw!)
