MY BIRTHDAY IS THE 13TH OF APRIL! YAY I'LL BE 15 YEARS OLD
I have already bought myself a nice present with the saved up money I had from odd jobs here and there and it should by the 11th. but my family obviously wants to get me stuff, but I don't have anything I want. I've never enjoyed my birthdays much just because receiving gifts is hard for me. just the whole "this cost you money that you worked very hard to earn and could've (and should've) spent that on yourself instead of me" part that always eats at me in the back of my head. BUT, i know if i don't have anything i want for my birthday, my family will buy things for me anyway that may be too expensive than what i think i deserve and i probably wont use or appreciate as much as they would like.
so i wanna know if theres any low-budget/low-effort hobbies you enjoy or little cute figurines or trinkets you think are cute that could be nice gifts, just so i have somewhere to start before my parents start asking about my birthday and presents more and more. if you need more info check out my general info on my profile maybe, that should help right?
i know it may be kind of a strange ask to strangers on the internet for help on this, but i really don't have anyone else to ask and I'm really stumped with this this year particularly. maybe it's because that gift i bought for myself was already quite expensive (it is a whole instrument) so maybe I just feel content with just that? I'm unsure. but hopefully this post will, at the very least, calm my nerves surrounding this

haiii!!! totes get where ur coming from, i would recommend craft supplies if ur into dyi’ing things!! things like spikes chains beltloops pins jump rings etc r super tactical, especiallg if u get one of those grommet puncher things u can turn some lame clothes into super cool ones!!
if u arent into dyi maybe look into burning cds!! u can ask to get a bunch of blank ones and a couple of empty cases so u can custom make ur own physical albumz if u wanted!!
another good one is posters! im personally a huge hoarder so i like to have my walls TOTALLY covered with stuff, posters r relatively cheap since u can just get laminated printed out paper aswell!!11
u could ask for vouchers!! what i usually do is make a voucher to go do sometbing with my friends on their birthday, so maybe itll be like a printed out ticket that says “1 trip to the movies :3” yk??
u could also ask for anime/cartoon figures!! u can find them for like 20 dollars on amazon or things like that and usually theyre shockingly good..
u can also ask for TONS of stickers/keychains!! u got urself an instrument right? maybe ask for some band kid stuff :3

omg these are all so good i already burn cds and make posters myself but why didn't I think of diy-ing supplies?? Ive been working on my battle jacket for months and it could totally use some spikes and studs to embellish it! and getting some stickers would be so nice. your such a help tysm! <33
