Polecon 2024

So I'm at a politics conference right now and it's meant to be politically balanced. I've just found out one of the organisers literally grew up with jacob rees mogg???

All the speakers here are really right wing except for sian berry mp. But she isn't that well known- especially compared to rees mogg, tice etc. I know there are Labour MPs/ex MPs here but they're on the right of the party...they're centre left according to our politics but I'd argue a lot of the speakers are centre right/right wing globally speaking.

Is it just me or is that kinda bad? I'm a demsoc so it's not like I'm massively left wing, but I'm slightly disappointed with the lineup. Anyone else at the conference have any thoughts? Or anyone have any thoughts that didn't go?
