strangers

maybe the reason why most people care about what

strangers will think and say is because... most of us

are actually kinder to strangers, to people we don't

personally know, compared to those we hold close,

to those we can but won't hold things over, to people

whose lives are intertwined with ours. we're scared

of the cycle coming back so quickly. because maybe

we aren't as good as we think we are.
