SECTION 0: ENTRY
I actually changed my opinion and despite my thoughts about gun control (that being negative as I myself want to be a gun owner and want to move to the US due to that), harris should've been elected. but that'd be against my opinions on that. however,
I will openly admit this, I used to be a Trump supporter for a decently long time. This ties into my previous far right and alt right beliefs which I will also admit I had. But I will state ONE thing immediately.
I am no longer far right or alt right, and haven't been for a long time. Please, do not let my former opinions change your view on me. I absolutely despise the far and alt right now, and that opinion was like that for some time.
In fact I am no longer even right by most factors. By almost all factors I can be considered center-left. But one thing that entirely sealed all of my hopes of 'Maybe Trump won't be THAT bad' was the absolutely disgusting law that destroyed the right of trans people.
SECTION 1: GENDER AND TRANS PEOPLE
Technically the executive order or whatever it's called. You all likely understand what I'm on about. Specifically, the situation of Hunter Schafer. Sure, it's one letter. But that one letter is very important.
Now, I will state this immediately. I am by no means in agreement with what most further left people see as gender. That's because they politicize gender a lot. I personally believe that there are three genders. Male, Female, Non-Binary (in this category fall people who identify as gender fluid, gender neutral, or are physically intersex). However, one thing I want to state for the record.
Trans women are women, and trans men are men. I see them as such out of respect for them as people. I personally think there should be some restrictions on transitioning (18+, maybe even 21+ since that is when the brain is fully developed), but that does not change my opinion on trans people. They're people. They deserve respect. They don't deserve to be politicized.
In short, people are people. Their gender doesn't matter, they should not be politicized by any means.
SECTION 2: GUNS
Those who know me well know that I love guns. I believe they should be available with minimal restriction to the type, BUT with major restriction to how they're obtained. Specifically? Licensing. I believe licenses should be SHALL ISSUE (that means you get it if you want it), BUT, and this is a major BUT. They should be shall issue with proper mental health AND ESPECIALLY background screening and the like. Why? Because it's not guns that cause the mass shootings. It's the severely mentally ill, or those who have political backgrounds that can be considered extremist (be it Nazis, Commies, religious extremist).
This should be FEDERAL FUCKING LAW and one cannot change my opinion. Because it makes the right happy, it makes the left.. somewhat happy? But most importantly, it ACTUALLY stops shootings. Controlling guns to the point you become the UK in terms of gun laws, or giving teachers guns are neither the solution. Common sense gun control is the solution. Now, would you give someone with some severe form of mental disorder, who is known to refuse medicine and has extremist ideals guns? No. Of course you wouldn't. Would you give a medicated mentally ill person guns? Depends, I'd say it actually heavily depends.
Self defense is also a right that should never be taken away from the people. It's unfortunately illegal to kill someone in defense EVEN if your life is threatened by them in many countries. Something I personally disagree with. Because if someone breaks into my house, and tries to touch my family in any way shape or form, or tries to take my things. No matter if they're white, black, hispanic, asian, native american, straight, gay, cis, trans, I swear on God, they are getting met with the muzzle end of an AK-74 with that middle setting on the fire selector marked with 'AB' (cyrillic, AB = AV, avtomaticheskiy. Automatic. That means fully automatic).
But what I want to say. Guns are a part of US culture, and it should stay like that. And self defense is a right that should not be taken from anyone.
SECTION 3: TRUMP AND KAMALA
First I hated Kamala and supported Trump. Then I hated both. Now? I just plain hate Trump and at the very worst dislike Kamala due to the fact she'd likely continue Joe Biden's anti-gun policies (refer to section 2 of my massive rant).
Trump is a liar, he's a former socialite and businessman who knows only of profit and does not actually care for the people. He's a sexual deviant who used to be good with Jeffery Epstein. Guess who also used to be good with Epstein? Elon. Fucking. Musk. And speaking of Elon Musk? His teachers considered him 'retarded' (I do not use that word lightly), and he used daddy's diamond mine money for his dumbass projects. You know Tesla? He is not the founder. The real founders are two regular guys who just wanted to make EVs. Musk became a Grade A investor and literally pushed them out of THEIR OWN COMPANY. I hate him, I've hated him even when I was a Trump supporter, and I will continue to hate him.
Kamala I cannot speak about as I personally do not know much about her. I definitely do not agree with some things she'd likely do. The previously mentioned potential for continuing Biden's anti-gun policies. But at least she wouldn't absolutely fuck over the regular person. Now, it is what it is, can't help it now. Too late. But one thing I wish for? MICHELLE OBAMA TO CANDIDATE NEXT TIME! I fucking wish and hope for that.
In short; fuck Trump, fuck Elon Musk, Kamala is.. alright I guess, and WE NEED MICHELLE OBAMA IMMEDIATELY.
SECTION 4: INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
I am not very fond of Russia. The US is slowly descending to their level politically. I very much do not like this. Zelensky himself does not have too clean of a record, but I respect that he's fighting for the survival of his country on the political and international front.
Just like not being fond of Russia, I am VERY not fond of China. I fucking hate Xi Jinping. The Chinese people are the ones that are in actual need of freedom. And in recent times they have tried SEVERAL TIMES through peaceful protest and even rioting. Which was always shut down with brutality by riot police. As is when it comes to Communist nations such as China.
What I am also not fond of is both the Palestinians and Israelis. The governments I mean, but in a way. The people of both are to an extent of blame. Hamas is not a political party, they were supported by a majority of Gaza. That's why they are ONLY in Gaza and not in the West Bank where we have Fatah. Fatah are the good ones. The Fatah party wants a 2-state solution. But what I'd also love to mention is Benjamin Netanyahu. I fucking hate him. He's the definition of a Zionist. That's who the hate should be directed at. Not the IDF, not Israelis, not Jews. Netanyahu. HE is the one calling the shots.
But one thing I'd like to say that many may dislike me for. Rather a mass murderer than a rapist. Connect the dots.

- The left doesn't politicize gender, that's like saying the left politicizes race or lgbtq. The right is what politicizes human rights in the first place.
The moderate and regular left itself doesn't, the FAR left (primarily those that fall under the definition of neo liberals) very much does. Just as the far right politicizes race and ethnicity, while the more moderate right (mostly the center right) doesn't. I don't know if I clarified that, I likely didn't.

How does the far left politicize gender? It has always been politicized since the patriarchy exists.

The main way is identity politics which are often used by the far left (so not the center left or just whole of the left) to either gain more influence amongst the people or try to promote their own specific ideals. Say what you want but that's a fact, with one notable piece of proof being the outcry amongst parents in several states on two specific books, 'This book is gay' and 'All boys aren't blue' which were seen as age inappropriate. Something I can personally see as iirc the books were given to lower classmen.
Now, said aforementioned identity politics are by themself not anything bad, they can be positive. Such as being used by people of a certain group to gain equality with another one and the like. However what's often done is that these identity politics are intertwined with broader far-left/left issues. This blurs the lines and makes distinguishing between propaganda (which very much exists for both sides) and actual struggles harder and harder.
Also, you make a very valid point with mentioning the right. You see, I've never said the right and far right were not guilty of such things, however that was back in the early to mid 20th century (and parts of the late 20th century).
The right emphasizes more traditional values (which can definitely be good but in this day and age are usually not a great thing as it could take away from women's rights and return the gender pay gap), but that's the smallest concern. Both sides are actually guilty of one thing, that being the far left and far right. Taking away rights from other individuals.
For the far right it's in general taking away rights of minorities (this includes racial minorities and the LGBTQ+), of women (abortion bans), and of protestors (protesting rights, however it's important to distinguish the difference between peaceful protestors and violent rioters).
And for the far left, while often more hidden, it's free speech (de-platforming, censorship), gun rights (2nd ammendment, I already got into my opinion on it), parental rights in schools (preventing parents from knowing if their child is socially transitioning. This is a double edged sword as some parents are just downright transphobes however it is very much a violation of parental rights), plus religious freedom (forcing religious organizations to comply with progressive policies).
Whichever side it is, both are wrong in doing it. It clashes with my views and is downright disgusting to see. This applies for both taking away certain rights and politicizing gender.
Also I would like to thank you for continuing to engage with this blog as I've spent a good bit of time on it. Means a lot to me. I would also like to apologize for any parts of this response that are not very clear. I'm rather tired and English is not my first language.

why should palestine settle for a two-state solution when they are indigenous to that land? many israelis are colonizers & recent settlers in that area. they have pushed native people off of their land.
Neither the Palestinians nor the Israelis are indigenous. Palestinians are Arabs that have moved to the area with the expansion of the numerous Arab nations as history went on, and the original Jews that lived there spoke Arameic. But at least the Israelis have SOME sort of connection to the land, that being religion unlike the Palestinians who are Arabs. Arabs are in basically every surrounding country.
That's why a two-state solution, but one that entirely destroys the concept of the terrorist group named Hamas (and gets rid of Netanyahu and the like) would simply just be better.

Looking further into it, the rivalry is not based on ethnic or genetic differences but on RELIGIOUS differences. Both Palestinian Arabs and modern Jews are genetically similar as they are descendants of Canaanites. This is an extremely complex topic due to that. It also personally reinforces my opinion that a 2-state solution is the best solution.
Further delving into it, technically BOTH are the native people of the land. The reason I wrote the least about this topic is also a part of this, as it's generally extremely complex. Similar to the situation with Kosovo (extremely important to Serbs culturally but with a majority Kosovar Albanian population), Arstakh (rather important to the Azeris (not culturally) but with a majority Armenian population) and the like. However to avoid delving further from our original topic of Israel and Palestine, I will not mention this further.
To put it simply; both Israeli Jews and Palestinian (Arab) Muslims can be considered the natives of the land, but at the same time by some arguments NEITHER can be considered the natives. Both are genetically almost the same as they've descended from the same people (Canaanites), however neither of the two ARE the original natives (aforementioned Canaanites).

To continue, I'd first like to apologize for the reply spam. My bad for that, however;
The Palestinians are politically in no place to not accept it. However this is where we delve from identity politics to geopolitics. In Palestine (Palestinian National Authority, West Bank and Gaza), there are two main political parties. Those being Hamas and Fatah.
Hamas currently controls Gaza (not for long) while Fatah currently controls the West Bank. The ideologies of Hamas are Palestinian and Islamic nationalism, Islamic fundamentalism, and Anti-Zionism. However that last package of Anti-Zionism is in reality just disguised calls for genocide against Israeli Jews, something that can easily be seen if one looks at television and media in the Gaza strip.
Fatah meanwhile is the much more moderate party. Believing in Social Democracy, Arab Socialism, Secularism (that means a divide of religion from government), Pan-Arabism, and Anti-Imperialism. Alongside believing in a two-state solution.
While Hamas uses UN and ISRAELI funds that are a part of UNRWA to boost their military capacity, Fatah uses their funding to actually turn the West Bank into a livable area. With an estimated (but not official) HDI of around 0.75, actually solid and comparable to countries like Egypt and the Phillipines. That's because the funding they receive is used on civilian infrastructure and not on bolstering the army. Why? Because the PNSF (Palestinian National Security Forces), the main armed branch of the Palestinian Authority (Fatah) does not attack Israel and thus does not end up with a massive offensive against them.
Even with significantly less funding the PNSF is actually rather decently equipped and can be seen wearing Western-made equipment including US-made ECH and French-made SPECTRA ballistic helmets, various Israeli-made pieces of body armor, M16s (modern era, not Vietnam-era. Very likely M16A4s or Israeli-modernized M16A2s), various AK-pattern rifles with tactical furniture and the like.
Hamas meanwhile used the money given to them through UNRWA to build rocket systems ('Qassam', al Quds-3 (BM-21 Grad copy), anti-tank weapons (various copies of RPG-7s, copies of the Soviet 9K111, 9K113 and 9K115 ATGM systems and so on), and their own small arms (primarily copies of the Russian AK-103). They also use this money to buy and smuggle their own weapons. Primarily those of Russian and as of lately Iranian production.
However in the end their armament doesn't matter, Fatah is the one that has built an actual stable section of Palestine (West Bank), while Hamas is the one that commits mass acts of terrorism and is seen as a terrorist organization by the entirety of the EU, a vast majority of nations in the Western world, and several entirely neutral Central American nations.
Before the voting difference and the fact that Hamas has more people in parliament is brought up. It's important to state that prior to October 7th, in several surveys, around 70% of Gaza members have stated they do not want Hamas in power anymore. However Hamas is still in power due to rampant corruption and ballot manipulation. Alongside practically being a militant dictatorship. This is why Hamas is still in control of Gaza, while Fatah controls the West Bank.
In shortened terms; Gaza and the West Bank are entirely different entities, and where as Fatah, who controls the West Bank wants a two-state solution and is actively trying to get it on good terms, however is unable to due to the fact that Hamas who is in reality only wanted by 6% of the population and is in power merely due to corruption is ruling Gaza and making this objective of Fatah not achievable for now.
This is backed up by an August 2024 poll by AWRAD (Arab World for Research and Development) done in Gaza which came with the following results:
- 6% of Gaza residents wish that Hamas stays in power
- 39% support Fatah
- A large majority of 55% either remained neutral or refused to answer (wonder why)
- An overwhelming 79% trusts UNRWA for humanitarian aid
- A majority of 57% stated Hamas was entirely incorrect to launch the October 7 attack
- Around 39% supported it
- The other 4% either didn't answer or remained neutral
According to various other sources, a vast amount of Gaza Palestinians either remained undecided or neutral on the topic. With some polls stating more support for Hamas (mid 30s in percentages), while other more trustworthy and independent sources (aforementioned AWRAD) state that only 6% support Hamas.
