Watched an interesting movie today ;) House of Wax (NO SPOILERS!!!)

Hello guys, it's Marilyn B) I watched House of Wax (2005) the other day, so I figured I should share my review with you :D 

It was an entertaining film, enjoyable if you like horror movies. Although it wasn't scary at all, it had a spooky plot. So if you get scared easily, don't worry it's all good, no jumpscares!! ;D It was a pretty simple but engaging concept, the house of wax itself was quite unnerving and frankly made me a bit uncomfy... LOL! It had a very straightforward approach while maintaining some elements of suspense, which made the story easy to follow (I really like that because i always get lost while watching movies). There were funny characters like the camera guy, though i did want some of them to die so bad. Why were they messing up the house of wax that’s so rude… :( 

It definitely had cheesy dialogue and delivery but it didn’t make the movie unbearable, nor did it overpower the plot itself, so i honestly just ignored it. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the suspenseful sound effects, it stripped away the intimidating factor for me and made it a bit unserious, that’s a personal preference though ;)

I wish we had gotten more of Vincent, he was super cool and, to be fair, he was the best part of the movie. Most of the time i was waiting for him to appear, bring him back please!!! Technicalities aside, it’s very entertaining and i’ll go ahead and say i didn’t expect something revealed at the end (although it may just be me being dumb). Also the music was so good, i loved it. Thumbs up!!
