For a small bit of context, Marcus Jordan was arrested for DUI a few days prior to me typing this. So things in this blog may change as new information comes out, so please leave a comment if you wish for me to add any extra information. Marcus Jordan is the second son of popular basketball player Michael Jordan, he was arrested on 2-4-25/4-2-25 for a DUI charge {driving under the influence}. During his arrest he would constantly mention his father to the officer, despite the fact the officer was unaware of who Marcus was during the interaction. I will be linking an article or 2 for the full information, because the rest of this blog is my personal opinion on this matter.
From what I have heard about this story, I feel as though I do not feel bad for Marcus. In fact I honestly feel disappointed in him and his actions, even though I was unware of his existence until I read the news of his crimes. I do not condone using the fame of your family members as a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card, especially for extremely serious crimes such as this one. I personally find it sickening, fame should be earned. Another thing I want to mention is that I frankly find it annoying to see people yell the phrase "Do you know who I am?!", because not everyone is going to immediately recognize a person just because their name is out there. There are billions of humans on earth, it's impossible for everyone to know the latest celebrities. But at the end of the day, I am one person on spacehey writing a blog about this odd situation.
