Is it normal for a 14 year year old to like too much a sanrio character?
My best friend has always been into sanrio and I was okay with it, who was I to tell her to not like what she wants just because I don't like it? Her fav sanrio character is Hello kitty and she says she likes hello kitty since she was a kid and that adds a reasoning to why she is still a bit attached to the character. But since we are in fact best friends and she talks about sanrio so much I recently started looking into it just for the sake of it. I noticed a character that I thought was really cute, Pompompurin. I really liked his design and thought he was very silly and cute.That has happened almost 2 months ago and since then I have gotten more into sanrio and into pompompurin, to the point where I am saving money just to buy pompompurin merch and started watching hello kitty and friends episodes just for pompompurin.
Now the question I have is, is it normal for a 14 turning 15 year old boy to like so much a sanrio character?

what kind of question is this, of course its normal! You're not harming anybody by being super into sanrio, you're not harming yourself. Tons of people get obsessions like that, and tons more people spend money on merch because it brings them joy, nothing wrong with it. Just have fun and don't let anybody tell you otherwise, you're fine.
