For those in the USA

Hey people in the USA,

As someone not from the USA, I've been seeing some concerning things lately: LGBTQ+ rights being threatened for example like trans peoples rights, censorship on the rise, anti-abortion laws, and books being banned. It's affecting women, LGBTQ+ folks, and so many others. Censorship, discriminatory laws, and the generally bad things I'm seeing aren't okay, and you should all fight back.

Communicate securely: Get Signal, SimpleX, or TailsOS  to protect your privacy and resist surveillance when talking to friends (EVEN IF YOU DONT USE THEM NOW YOU IT WOULD BE GOOD TO HAVE THEM!!!!) Stay anonymous online: Mullvad VPN or other VPNs can help keep your IP hidden (https://mullvad.net/en), but again, it's important to be mindful of your online habits and digital fingerprint.

Preserve important information: With news of things disappearing from government sites, now's the time to download and archive what you can. (Https://archive.org)
