Proust 35 questions thing

It's bright, sunny, and warm but not too warm. I'm surrounded by people I love. I feel neither like I am wasting time or that I'm put in a position where I must kill it. Nothing important is coming up that I must worry about, and everyone is safe and cared for. Nothing aches.
2. What is your greatest fear?
Dying before I've lived.
3. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
My insecurities.
4. What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Insincerity.
5. Which living person do you most admire?
That is unanswerable for me. I admire several for several reasons I find difficult to measure.
6. What is your greatest extravagance?
Cheese, easy. It's incredibly expensive here but nothing beats a good piece of gouda.
7. What is your current state of mind?
Dented like the fender of a driver who can't justify the expense of a repair.
8. What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Hard work, definitely. The most fortunate in this world have had to do very little of it yet it is touted as the only thing that can bring you security and happiness.
9. On what occasion do you lie?
When it works.
10. What do you most dislike about your appearance?
I'm not sure where to even start with that. Suffice to say everything but my eyes could be greatly improved on.
11. Which living person do you most despise?
Hard to pin down only one.
12. What is the quality you most like in a man?
Sincerity.

...Sincerity.
14. Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
"Just", but many can say that.
15. What or who is the greatest love of your life?
Not sure. Love is a touchy subject.
16. When and where were you happiest?
I was maybe three years old. It was summer, it was sunny, I was going to get candy and I had no idea how bad everything could be.
17. Which talent would you most like to have?
The ability to write and complete novels that are both publishable and self-satisfying.
18. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would become godly.

Hanging on for this long.
20. If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
A tree.

Wherever the people who matter to me live.

My plush crab.

When there isn't any hope to be found anywhere.

Strolling.

The demeanour of someone who has one foot in this life and the other in the next.

Patience.

McCarthy, Palahniuk, Calvino. I need to read more.
28. Who is your hero of fiction?
Hitagi, easily. It's a familiar struggle handled in a way I can only admire.
29. Which historical figure do you most identify with?
Joan of Arc. Probably a weak answer but I'm not familiar with much history.
30. Who are your heroes in real life?
It's difficult to say. Scenya? Sure.
31. What are your favorite names?
Claire and its variant Clara are pretty cute.
32. What is it that you most dislike?
Carelessness.
33. What is your greatest regret?
Not fighting harder to ensure my own place in the world.
34. How would you like to die?
Pleased with the result.
