poem

Eclipsed in Ash and Roses

Beneath the weeping willow’s shade,
Two hearts in ruin, love betrayed.
The moonlight drapes in silver chains,
Binding us to loss and pain.

Your hand, once warm, now cold as stone,
A ghost I dare not call my own.
Yet in your stare, the night still sings,
A love that withers, yet still clings.

The roses blacken, petals fall,
Their dying scent still haunts us all.
Yet even death, with jealous hands,
Could never break what fate demands.

One final kiss, a lover’s sigh,
A vow unbroken, though we die.
So lay with me where shadows creep—
In love, in grief, in endless sleep.
