What i've noticed in tiktok trends last year was "I'm just a girl" or "female in male dominated fields", it didn't really sit right with me.
''girl math", "girl dinner", all of that is just silly, relatable things in girlhood- until some girls post "im just a girl" caption with a car crashing video, showing girls with the inability to do thing right? Possible relation with incompetence and unintelligence, is that really a rise to representing girls?
I think there was also a trend with (i forgot but it was like working hard for my gf's little cafe I SRSLY FOROGT) making the man work hard for the girl, which kind of promotes the girl to work minimally?? i may be tweaking but still weird
Also the fact that feminism was created back from grandparents then to end the conservatism only for it to come back on social media with the 'tradwives' and nara is insane T-T
This is just my opinion and im sure there are different points of this topic, but lmk what you think! ^^

OMG SAME it's like bringing the whole stereotype of girls being air heads or the in ability to do things like a man can. and this isn't feminism this is just the "tiktok" version like let me just take this powerful word and strip it of all that it means so I can be hip and cool it's the equivalent of the "GIRL POWER!" you see on baby girls shirts, just using the word to be trendy
all the "girl dinner" or "girl math" or "I'm just a girl" like ermm... No your not just a girl your way more then that... And it seems infantilizing like "oh I'm just a girl I can't do big things like driving or math because I'M A GIRL" it's internalized misogyny... And the tradwises thing IS JUST REINFORCING SEXIST AND MISOGYNISTIC STEREOTYPES LIKE DIDN'T WE LEAVE THAT BULLSHIT IN THE 50s?!?! But I don't really mind the tradwises or whatever it kinda shows how far feminism has gone because now women can choose to be that instead of being forced and it's healthy relationships shw most likely gets payed so who cares as long as she's being treated right then whatever traditional relationships aren't bad at times
