Is It Fear Mongering or Should I Really Be Worried?

The new administration hasn't even been in power for a month, and a lot has already happened. There are also a lot of things that I am worried about, especially since I am a woman. I am constantly seeing reels and TikToks of leftists expressing their concerns of what may happen. A lot of people are saying that we are on the path of becoming like 1930's Germany. It's not just Americans who are saying that, my Germans are also saying that, too. I've also seen two Transgender women having issues either changing the gender on their passport, or they just simply cannot get a passport at all. It may not be a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Plus all of the deportation stuff is concerning.

But with all of the worries and conspiracy theories, is it fear mongering, or should I really be so worried? Not gonna lie, I'm pretty worried. Especially since some of the people who helped write Project 2025 is on this new administration, and it already seems like we are going down that path.

And these tariffs...are they going to make things more expensive? I've already told my friends to buy reusable feminine hygiene products just incase these tariffs make pads and tampons more expensive. 

I wish I knew what to do. The only thing that I know I can do is be a safe space for people. I hope that things don't get too bad. I will have to take breaks and unplug every once in a while so that I can keep some of my sanity. 

Make sure you stay informed, read history books, read banned books, but also take breaks.
