Contextual Biblical Reading Journal: Lamentations 3:25

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

Hoping in the Lord is good because there are many things in the Lord to hope for you will see in His goodness in many things He does for you when you seek your God for all your needs that He can do something about and just be patient for Him to answer those needs you have because His perfect answer will come at the perfect time and this prevents that temptation if you truly trust in Him to feel you need to go around the Lord in sin to get what you want and need when He already supplies it wholely. 

Hope in the Lord is a hope that lasts because Jesus proves you can hope in Him through His perfect lasting love ultimately from His sacrifice, when God did that He wasn't sacrificing His Godhood but carrying out in the most passionate way God is with His love to get Himself willingly filthy with our sin that He had no part of and His holiness was the only thing to destroy it.

Before we sinned, He gave us a chance of free will to obey Him and choose Him, He planned His sacrifice and carried it out from the very beginning when man fell with disobedient choice of sin, still, now He gave us a free will chance to choose Him or sin and after He died on the cross in His form of man He gives you a second chance after you sin to still choose Him, that's His great mercy. 

Jesus is your Saviour King, He WILL save you through and from anything because His saving true prevailing love.

You don't have to worry about what ifs and wonder with doubts about God, He'll leave no room for that with His heart to you, just take His heart open it up, and see what He beholds for you to hope in of Him, there'll be no reason to lose hope for anything you face and we have the eternal hope of having an eternity with Him to come.
