Before I get into it, i'm just gonna drop my opinion on this.
While the individual tweet Dream made was a little odd, the shit Tommy said in his video is just borderline slander and I have no idea why the internet is on his side here.
I recommend watching Dream’s video; he does a surprisingly thorough job addressing the accusations against him, much like he did when responding to the pedophilia allegations a while back. This is just my theory, but it seems like Tommy deliberately brought up multiple accusations—some unproven and others outright disproven—in his video, likely hoping to stir up drama and gain a bit of clout because his relevance is waning.
As shown in Dream’s video [with clips], Tubbo and Tommy both seem to believe that Dream saying the "r-slur" is somehow worse than them perpetuating false pedophilia allegations for months, as well as spreading false rape allegations against George. These accusations almost destroyed their careers until Dream and George were able to disprove them in their respective videos. Yet, Tommy and Tubbo face little to no accountability—if anything, they’re even encouraged in some circles.
It’s clear that Tommy is clout-chasing now that his failed stand-up comedy career isn’t taking off like he hoped.
To recap: Tommy spread false allegations accusing Dream of being a pedophile, made false claims that George was a rapist, and is now trying to play the victim because Dream said something offensive on Twitter.
The funny thing is, I don't even need to find receipts for any of this! Dream has done a good job at including everything in his video, screenshots and clips. Something Tommy hasn't done in his, most likely because the "evidence" is all bullshit or strenuous at best. There's a lot more in the video also, so genuinely, watch it before you form an opinion on this.

It's kind of a complicated thing bc its not like Dream is entirely innocent. His (past) friendship w/ Tommy could b seen as a bit problematic based on the power imbalance alone. He also straight up lied on a few occasions while defending himself, which I didn't even catch until watching Tubbo's stream... on the other hand I do hv sympathy for him. His name has been dragged thru the mud so many times and most of the time it was totally unprompted xd
I still think it's insane how little people care abt tommy n his friends spreading the "dream is a gr00mer" rumour like ???? This is so not sumn they should ever be joking abt why does no one gaf ToT

Yea in my opinion, which is also lowkey a hot take. If you make false rape/sexual crime allegations towards someone, especially in cases where the alleged is taken to court. You should face the punishment that person would have had to face. Sexually based crimes are one of the most cruel under murder and joking about and/or lying about it and defaming someone's whole reputation should be completely unacceptable in this day and age.
