 ive been spending my mornings in darkness and my evenings under the blistering heat of hospital lightbulbs

being surrounded by sick people reminds me of my mortality, how despite my sneers at their inevitable unsanitation, im never exempt from the exact same fate.

we are all human, we all share the same varying chances of illness.
