sonic 3 spoilers

anyone else a little sad that they wrote out maria's illness :[ i mean ik it makes the death sadder but shadow was created to find a cure for her?? like he was made FOR her that adds so much to his character imo, being built to save someone and then watching them die first of all is devastating and it adds a lot a depth also it adds more to maria! maybe they just didnt want to put so much into a character thats there for like 10 minutes or maybe the movie wouldve been to long idk but other than that the movie was AMAZING (and im not just saying that bc im sonic)
