Do soulmates exist?

People seem to love the idea of having a one perfectly matched person to them that will be their complement. We find those 'soulmates' in romantic partners or platonic relationships. From my perspective i don't belive in soulmates that way. I kind of find it ridiculous that in a world of 8 bilion people there is only one complementing for each person. People are not that different really. Sure they have different interests, characters and memories but in the end we are very similliar. We might think 'i'm so different' but we're not. Not just emotions, bodies and systems we share but so much more. You can easilly define some sort of types of people. For example in your school or work, types of people in friend groups or various situations. I belive that there are a lot of ours 'soulmates'. In a world and population as big as ours I know there are multiple people matching us just right. Think about it. How many people do u know that find soulmate in someone in their life. Probably a lot. Everyday we make decisions. Smaller ones or bigger but still everyday, nonstop. You don't even think about it. Every little decision changes what happens next, where will u end up, who will you meet. Universe is an interesting thing. So in every scenario that the world could give you, there will be a person who you'll define as a soulmate or not but still could be it. There's chemistry all around us, we are made of it and the world is too. everything is. Chemistry is what attracts us to another person. In 8 bilion people for sure there are more than one to attract yours. The myth about soulmates is kinda cool tho.
