i don't know if i'll post many more entries, but i'd just like to share my thoughts on certain things.......
in our world today, the systems that shape our lives often define our values and alter our opinions. i will not let myself be swayed by greedy right wingers and their insistence on brainwashing the nation....... capitalism is built on the competitive nature of human beings in opposition to eachother, whilst socialism focuses on a society where people work alongisde eachother. capitalism operates on the idea of money providing a fixed sign of immortality. the average man, once an active participant in society, now transformed into the pathetic consumer, alienated and only ever bothered by evils that stem from profit. capitalism is a denial of death, a desperation to have something lasting of yourself beyond the grave: money. and i think that's a little pathetic, needing something to guarantee our importance and prove our worth as human beings due to how this sytem has shaped our beliefs. it works on the idea of people being naturally selfish, freudian and convervative ideas, whilst humans (at least i think so) are naturally drawn to what is moral rather than what is considered evil. the idea of fear being behind evil should only further encourage us to view love as the true saviour, cliche as it may sound. humans are a blank slate, not inherently evil or good, shaped only by the ideas around us. i might be a bit biased, but again don't let yourself be brainwashed by such a system. i believe we're all united by our humanity; money should not be a reason to seperate usentry 001
