Stream with OBS especially if you're on Linux, and preferably try to make the streams actually unique so people are more interested in watching (i.e. something not oversaturated like gaming being the main thing you stream unless you already have a big audience).

From there, I would recommend just making many connections. Check out other small streamers and talk, join chatrooms/forums and discuss there, etc. You pretty much have to make connections to grow further, and if you're doing it in a specific niche rather than copy/paste gaming stuff, it gets way easier to grow. If things get large enough, make a simple HTML/CSS website and put the archives of your streams onto it, in case something happened to your accounts.

It takes time, so be patient. I've been doing YouTube for 5 and a half years, yet am still small, whereas I've seen some people do what I know now to do and are way bigger with far less time. Most creators in general just have to be patient, and have to grow slowly. I will note that unless you can retain viewers gained from a random video or stream blowing up, it is likely that it will actually hurt your channel in the long-term, because it will seem like your channel isnt getting anywhere near as many views as you have subscribers, so it slowly tanks your name unless you either get more viewers, or they unsubscribe and things go back to normal.

ur welcome :D

soon i'll subscribe to ur channel to help out a bit (normally sub-4-sub is also bad and even against YouTube TOS, but im actually going to watch the videos even if it takes me 5 years to get to it, so its fair game)

ur welcome :]

if u want some free tools, i recommend:
Shotcut - Video Editing
Audacity (or Sneedacity) - Audio Editing
GIMP - Image Editing (whether for videos or thumbnails)
^ or just pirate regular software, but im too lazy to do that, and everything above being open-source is sometimes convenient for me as well.

Also, best mic I can recommend is the Blue Yeti Microphone (but a bit pricy it is at $60-$80), its probably the most generic copy/paste YouTuber mic in the world but it is easily one of the best, especially using Audacity very minorly to make it sound as though it were a professional microphone.
