i've almost survived the semester

phd school is hard guys

what i have left:

• two take-home exams for the weekend

• one twenty-page paper (i've written five pages)

• an oral exam for russian, on monday

• ...wait hold on that's it. i'm so glad i typed this out???

i have until next friday for the paper. thankfully have met some great friends who want to body double with me so i can get it done. i'm really not used to procrastinating and have absolutely done so with this project, so it probably won't end up being my best work, certainly not... it's not in my field anyway. it's a paper on this crazy image by lucas cranach, of a werewolf eating a baby: here. he made it in about the year 1512. like what the fuck

anyway i'm really looking forward to having some time after next week to rest and get some personal projects done. по душе, as the russians say, for my soul's liking.

oh and tomorrow is my birthday! it's a busy day. i have a reading session i'm going to to support my friend who's korean in her campaigning to get their fool president impeached, then i have class at 10am, and in the afternoon i have a job interview and then i close at my retail job. so still no work will get done; the weekend is my oyster lol
