vo dzenu fia - a snippet of a song in my conlang
vo dzenu fia mid zek taya ladzenu zek yisha
vo dzenu fia mid zek mabido ladzenu zek na
vo dzenu fia seko vao vo dzenu o khana
zek dzenu meyota li o hanga
my language is called thalakathim, spoken by the people of thalakat (and the several nations they colonized whoops) in my unnamed fantasy world. 'vo dzenu fia' translates very plainly to 'i love you' - this is a traditional song of romantic love.
a fun fact is that the word 'ladzenu' is the word 'love' conjugated in the eternal tense, a state of being that will never end.
