which should i buy

hello !! so my parents are planning to buy me a gadget but i still don't know what to choose, ipad air 5/6, pc, or laptop? i need it till i finish college.

if i buy an ipad, i can still buy a phone 
if i buy a pc or laptop, i need to save money for a phone

help me decide please
