Fanfic Rambles

Currently getting back into writing on AO3, and I was going through my old fics and was reminded how bad I was at the whole thing back then lol I would only write from first person and avoid dialogue like my life depended on it.

But right now I got hit with inspiration because of all the Batman fics I've been reading. So I have this series planned out in my google docs about Jason Todd and him being VERY occ... like, I made him go down the path of an information broker, sorta. Because when coming back from the dead and spending time at the league, he got this sudden thought to search for answers about his family for himself since so many things Talia told him wasn't adding up.

And etc etc, he comes back to Gotham and becomes a crime lord as usual but way more prepared and has a much bigger impact on the place and people as a whole. He also has a different mindset when it comes to his family and everybody who came after. This is because over his training and search for answers, he ended up discovering a lot about them and messed up things which occurred while he was away (and even before that).

So basically the series will mostly be about events which have Jason just spilling out all their secrets and sorta becoming a family therapist in his own way lol

I also wanted to write something which acknowledges many of Bruce's mistakes but not make him completely irredeemable. Like, I want him to still end up being a dad to the kids, and for his dynamic with Dick to be further talked about. 

Also, it's going to be very AU-like since I'm picking and choosing from the comics what's canon or not. Plus I'll be deciding how to characterize all the characters since its not like DC hasn't mis-characterized them enough for it to honestly be up to the reader on how that person acts.
