WEEN:brown trilogy pt 1

ween is a wierd ass band that i love they have made some of the best and worst music i have ever heard and i feel it is necessary to make a bunch of reviews about them because i have listened to all of their albums

im gonna review godweensatan the oneness

godweensatan is weens first album and it shows but despite the number of flaws it may have i still think this album kicks all kind of ass it starts with the song you fucked up which is a really agressive punk song about a messy breakup which then tranitions into the song tick a song about their hatred of ticks im not gonna go over every song because there are like 30 of them but this album is essentially a pastiche album kinda like the white album by the beatles although more comedic and bizzare they didn't have a drummer at the time so this whole album is just 2 20 year olds recording into a 4 track tape machine with a guitar bass and drum machine this doesnt stop them from making one of the most musically diverse albums i have heard they have punk, funk, idiosynchratic pop, psychadelic rock, spanish folk music, reggae and a whole host of other genres the album highlits to me at least have to be LMLYP, Birthday boy, dont laugh (i love you), nicole, marble tulip juicy tree and puffy cloud

the album is pretty good and though it has some stinkers none of the bad songs are long enoguh to bother me so id give this album a solid 7/10 pretty good start
