Are we Doomed as a Society?

I can't believe everything that's happening. Should I really be this scared of seeking the truth? and safety? I wish I was born in a different country and time, I wish to have never have existed in this awful unsafe country. I hate it here, I don't want to be a girl but I guess thats a choice I cannot make, I hope they are happy with us living in fear.
