Being alternative is fashion only second to the values. Stuff like Goth and Emo and music subcultures, but the values cannot be denied. You can't pick and choose these things. Every single alternative subculture is based in values before the fashion, even the music based ones. If you support Trump or voted for him, you are not alternative. If you support right wing ideology, you are not alternative.
