guys ik some of us have school but pls try to not leave the house, stay inside as much as u can, stock up on groceries and all the supplies u need to survive for the next week or two. this is not a joke, trump fans are off their fucking roster and i need everyone to be aware and be safe, u might have to go as far as not discussing trans rights, gay rights, political sides, ect. in public because trump fans will come up to u and they will ask u stuff and u dont know their intensions but u should know that they are not good. if someone so happens to come up to u abt who u believe is the best political contribute, pls respond with "sorry i dont discuss politics with strangers" or something along the lines of that. this is not fake this is real and things can get real bad so pls stay safe and stay home.

When I say this, I mean it in a caring way. It’s so easy to fall for fear mongering. Project 25 is a manifesto, not a set of laws, not a proposed bill. Which I assume is what you’re talking about when you say your rights are being taken away. Please PLEASE do research from multiple perspectives if you’re concerned about it.

As someone who is anxious and disappointed about recent events as well, I promise you don't have to hide out. Things aren't that severe and Trump hasn't even been inaugurated for his term yet. I was about your age the last time Trump was in office. Was good? No, and 2020 was pretty low point for his term. But it wasn't The Purge levels of danger. Politics and civics are a bit more complicated and less black-and-white than that. Continue to go to school and further your education. Confide in your friends about how your feeling and find solace in them. If you feel unsafe, continue to avoid talking about politics or LGBTQ things around threatening people. There's no reason to completely panic, we'll be okay. I say this as someone who's in a red state.
Oh also please tell a trusted adult or teacher if someone is harassing or threatening you. If one of them shrugs it off or refuses to intervene, find someone who will. Instructors are supposed to prioritize the safety of their students above all else.

yea ik, im honestly just scared because i saw videos of ppl part of the lgbt getting harassed and there has been videos telling ppl to be careful. ik nothing super big has happened yet i just wanna be prepared incase i dont wanna take chances, but yea i avoid talking abt politics this and my last blog were the only things ive ever posted abt politics bc i hate having to deal w the comments. i feel like no one can state an opinion without being rude, but thank u for ur kindness and the way u said things i appreciate it and i agree with u :)
