I'm legitimately so scared for my future now that Trump has officially been elected. What's going to happen with my current healthcare? How are the tariffs going to end up affecting our economy? What is the future with abortion rights?Β
I have no clue how this is going to pan out considering a convicted felon that only "has a concept of a plan" is now our president.
Β God help me.

Healthcare was not part of Trumps platform so that will not change.
Tariffs will cause a more companies to manufacture in the US. Hopefully, this will also raise the prices on slave labor produced products from third world countries and encourage people to buy made in USA products made with ethical labor.
Abortion rights have already been voted on at the state level and will not to affected.
Most of the charges on Trump are flimsy and mostly defeated in court at this point. I don't care about this issue because it's accounting inaccuracies and things like that. You'll have to look that stuff up yourself.
you put it better than i could've. a lot of people seem to just not really know about his policies.
to add onto this, remember the last time trump was elected in 2016. did anything super horrible happen then? personally speaking, out of the past several elections i've been alive to witness, i can't really name any time it's directly impacted my life in any way, positively or negatively.
obligatory "as a minority" even though i don't think that's super relevant and most people who don't like trump seem to dislike minorities who're even neutral towards him.everything will probably be fine.
i hope this doesn't come across as dismissive.
