Men Have Failed Women Last Night

For the one-hundredth million time.

Simply put, I am appalled and in grief for all those who are going to be directly affected by this. I'm worried for the wellbeing and safety of a huge amount of vulnerable people and their lives being at risk... Typically, I am an optimist, and strive to see the best in everyone and every situation.

With this in mind, and after extensive research, I firmly believed Kamala Harris would win the election given everything we know. In fact, I was so confident in humanity and the American people, that I bet $10,000+ in her to win this election.

You have the elderly aged man (think Biden's critics who hated him because of his age and dementia) who's a convicted felon who sexually abused someone versus the far more intelligent, younger and more mature black woman. The election tells us that the population prefers to vote for this convicted felon than a black woman.

This also tells us that men failed all women in America, as they chose to vote against the rights of their mothers, daughters, wives, and partners. They parade around, declaring that the "economy is saved with this newly president elect" and "we won't have taxes on our overtime pay", but even with this argument, could you really choose economics over the wellbeing of your wife or mom or daughter? It makes no sense to me.

Think basic healthcare and necessities for women, think about the freedom and entitlement to your own body, think about environment! All of that goes out the window because of Trump's (and man's) selfish egotistical desires. Money and power and control.

Ultimately, they voted for a man because he is a man. They chose not to vote for a woman because she is a woman.

As a man, I stand by you all, if I lived in the U.S, I'd have voted blue all the way down the ballot. It should be a no-brainer!
