election anxiety

I typically don't vote democrat... as I'm a independent, but Jesus I couldn't risk voting a third party.

Typically I vote forward party for local, state, and national elections. but the situation is dire, every vote counts, and i am PRAYING my rights will be protected.

I've been active these past few months in local gov, protesting the school districts decision to fire 25 tenured teachers to "save money" and protesting a Costco that is trying to be put in a multi use zone (therefore taking away from local buissnesses). hideous.

while i am weary of the economic effects and the possibility of gun control laws that i know Dems love to try and pass. It's not gonna kill me. and in all honesty its better this country is without arms. yes i have had training and screenings and paid lots and lots to get permits and stuff knowing i may just have it all ripped away.

But my right to my body... is worth more than any object I will own. So for this election, i can vote democratic, and feel sound in my decision. 

i do hope andrew yang runs in 2028 tho :)
