2024 Election

Honestly, this is probably the only time I've been actually anxious about presidential elections. Most of my family is voting for Trump; I'm probably the only one in my house who will be voting for Kamala. My uncle is a decent person; he's gay and shit, but he said he "doesn't care," about politics. He really, really should. I don't think he and many people out there understand what can and will happen if Trump wins. He's already said he believes women should be "punished" for aborting a baby, and I think we all already know his views on ANYONE that isn't white..
Kamala meanwhile is just.. Honestly, a genuine human. She seems nice enough, she has decent views, she believes in rights for everyone - I mean, hell, nothing really horrible to see on her end. This year will be my first voting. I just really gotta vote for her, and hope things go well.
After hearing so so much about Trumps plans if he is elected, it has me actually scared. It really upsets me how stupid my family is. I love them all so much, but they're just.. Not smart with this shit, honestly. Every time I'd ask someone they'd say "better prices!" Yeah. So, you prefer better prices for groceries instead of women's rights? Seriously?? It's fucking ridiculous.
People seem to be treating it as just a joke. Like, if Trumps elected again just nothing will happen? It's fucking stupid. It's clear what he wants to do, and it will happen if he is somehow elected again. I seriously hope Kamala gets this. It really upsets me seeing how stupid people are when it comes to this shit, man.

It's like no one does their research on anything. They just see "better prices!" and go with it. Like, "Yeah, sure I'm ready to vote away LGBTQ+ and women's rights so I can buy me some cheap groceries even though Kamala said the EXACT SAME THING!!1!" Make it make sense, my gosh. I mean shit, it sucks when some people are good people but they're just fucking clueless on who they're voting for. My family seems to just be voting blindly. My grandma is completely brainwashed. She believes Trump is "Pro-LGBTQ+, Pro-women, Loves black people.." When he is the exact fucking opposite of that. They just make up reasons to hate Kamala. She is black and a woman; she clearly won't do anything to harm people of color or women's rights. But, oh, she "fucked her way to the top!" They believe that, but ignore when Trump is said to be a literal fucking felon, and claim it's "made up." Sure.

It's even more ridiculous seeing women vote for Trump. What do you mean you're ready to vote your fucking rights away for a stupid annoying orange? Plus, always talking about "better prices," Kamala has said COUNTLESS times that she plans on fixing that herself as well. So why not just vote for a woman who plans on BETTER prices AND HUMAN RIGHTS? This shit has my fucking brain melting, honestly. I wish my family would just listen, but I know that's never going to happen. Not sure what I'm gonna say when they ask me who I voted for - Guess they'll just have to cry about it.
