(rant) ah, substance abuse

i hate watching the news n hearing about teenagers dying because of overdosing. no one deserves that sentence.

i know that a lot of teenagers do drugs to cope with whatever is happening at home or inside themselves. i wish their form of happiness wasnt so deadly. all they deserve is rehab n someone who cares yknow? i feel like there's healthier coping mechanisms outside of alcohol, vapes, cigs, and whatever else is being done

i HATE the adults that groom some teens into thinking drugs are good/fun/cool n pressure them into becoming intoxicated or addicted. i feel like it's some of these people's faults for some overdose (or lace) cases. i kinda miss the anti-drug/say no to drugs movement. i wish drugs werent so common n deadly nowadays

i feel like with the amount of drugs there are, it should just become regulated like alcohol n tobacco. it's way too hard to criminalize these things atp. legalize drugs and regulate them so that these fucking overdoses n shit can stop. it'll help teens (or ANYONE really) seek help when they overdose, n it also prevents laced shit since it's going to be coming from a trusted brand

anyway that's just my opinion. i say no to drugs bc my dad is an alcoholic, and i've seen how drugs ruined my family. AND my friends' families.. and my own friends in general... however im super understanding. as long as my friends dont force me (n as long as they arent fucking glorifying it by saying "me do drugs for funsies") then i respect their usage

im just kinda pissed hearing ab hearing how many overdoses happen on campuses, at homes, and in public (take a look at seattle with their tranq zombies) on the news. stay safe yall.. halloween is coming up n no one knows what's gonna be coming out of a house with a drug lab in it yknow? my friend overdosed on a week ago cuz she grabbed a dollar that had some fent on it n wiped her nose after, but im so glad she's alive. it can happen to anyone. so that was my motivation for writing this rant
