crocheting the night away

after i finished my sweater vest i made back in october, i took a little break from crocheting. i wanted to find some new patterns and try different yarn than what i've been using. 

i ended up buying Lion Brand Thick & Quick yarn because i've heard it's really warm and works up pretty quickly. 

last night i looked up some patterns for this yarn and decided to make some arm warmers. it's a very basic pattern and took maybe about 25 mins. they turned out pretty cute. i'm sure i could add some flare to it with a different type of pattern like scallops or maybe even making granny squares and sewing them together. 

next up, i'll be making some hats that remind me a lot of the 90s ones joey wore in dawson's creek.
